Ali Roskell, a dedicated professional at Vitaflo International Ltd, has built an impressive career in Clinical Data Management, developing extensive expertise in the field over time.

As a child, Ali aspired to become a nurse, drawn to the idea of caring for others. However, her career took a different turn when she discovered Clinical Data Management through a student placement. What began as an introduction soon developed into a long-term passion, leading her to embrace a role that significantly impacts people’s health and quality of life.

Ali’s early days in CDM were shaped by hands-on experiences, including filing, photocopying, creating queries, and updating data. Starting as an Industrial Placement Student in Clinical Data Management, she quickly realised the field’s potential. The continuous evolution of the industry, particularly the transition from paper-based processes to electronic data capture (EDC), has kept her engaged and motivated throughout her career.

Reflecting on what keeps her in the profession, Ali highlights job satisfaction and the meaningful impact of her work. The dynamic nature of CDM, coupled with opportunities for growth, has made it a fulfilling career choice.
