Quality is defined as error free data in clinical trials. The quality of clinical trial rests on drafting foolproof investigational plans (e.g. Protocol, DMP, DVP, etc). However, quality of a trial can be tremendously improved by preventing the errors which could undermine the ability of extracting important information from the study. As a data manager, it is important to understand which aspects are critical in generating error-free data and to identify the actions that can help in achieving desired quality in data pertaining to critical areas.
