The ACDM Annual Awards are a celebration of excellence in clinical data management. Open to both Members and Non-members, they provide the perfect platform to shine a spotlight on outstanding achievements. The winners of the three Awards will be revealed at ACDM26 on 16th March 2026 in Berlin. Meet the finalists below.

Individual Excellence in the Management of Clinical Data Award

This Award will be given to an individual who, in the opinion of the judges, has made a significant contribution to one of the following aspects of the management of clinical data: Project Delivery, Process Improvement & Quality Improvement.

Jennifer Nielsen, Lundbeck

For outstanding contributions as an individual contributor, leading the cross-industry DADM Audit Trail Expert Group. Jennifer has driven the development of robust audit-trail standards and best practice, strengthened regulatory readiness, improved data governance, and enhanced collaboration across teams.

Rishi Raj, SENSAN Biosciences

For excellence in Clinical Data Management, combining operational rigor with innovation. Rishi strengthened data quality and risk-based oversight in global studies, introduced automated workflows, integrated eCOA and third-party data, and applied dashboards and AI-supported oversight. He also mentors colleagues and shares expertise to advance CDM standards across teams and the wider community.

Diana Saraiva, Pfizer

For leadership and innovation in Clinical Data Management, driving adoption of next-generation data platforms and the Unified Data Management Solution. She established Pfizer’s Data Management function in Greece, strengthened capability, standardised processes, and improved efficiency. Through mentoring and collaboration, Diana has enhanced data integrity, accelerated delivery, and fostered a culture of excellence.

Team Excellence in the Management of Clinical Data Award

This Award will be given to a team who, in the opinion of the judges, has made a significant contribution to one of the following aspects of the management of clinical data: Project Delivery, Process Improvement & Quality Improvement.

Project Phoenix Data Management Team, VHypotenuse

For excellence in Clinical Data Management, converting 28 legacy paper-based Phase 1 and Phase 2 studies into fully electronic, submission-ready datasets. Through agile project management, reverse-engineered workflows, and close collaboration, the team improved data transparency, traceability, and regulatory compliance, reduced turnaround times, and established a scalable approach for future complex retrospective studies.

CVLP Team, University of Southampton

For excellence in Clinical Data Management, delivering the Cancer Vaccine Launch Pad (CVLP) by transforming a manual, Excel-based process into a secure, scalable database. The team onboarded over 50 NHS sites, integrated multiple data sources, and improved data integrity and usability, creating a national platform that supports clinical decision-making, accelerates research, and sets a benchmark for future initiatives.

Zelta Services Team, Zelta by Merative

For excellence in Clinical Data Management, delivering the migration of 12 registry studies into Zelta within nine months. Using structured workflows, technical expertise, and close collaboration, the team ensured high-quality data transformation, early risk mitigation, and transparency. Targeted training empowered the CRO to independently manage future studies, establishing a scalable and sustainable model of operational excellence.
