ACDM Hot Topic Committee

The ACDM Hot Topic Committee plays a key role in shaping and delivering ACDM’s Hot Topic discussions. The Committee is responsible for identifying timely and relevant topics in clinical data management, sourcing and supporting speakers, and helping to ensure each session is engaging, informative and discussion led. Committee members may also chair sessions, introducing the topic and speakers, facilitating discussion, and helping to drive audience Q&A.

ACDM Hot Topics are online discussion sessions focused on current and emerging issues in data management. Each session is led by a subject matter expert and supported by a Chair, who together guide the conversation and encourage participation from attendees. Sessions are recorded and shared with ACDM members.

Previous Hot Topics have covered areas such as RBQM and cross functional collaboration, AI in clinical data management, ICH E6 R3 data governance, biostatistics and data management partnerships, selecting and using software and AI effectively, regulatory compliance in eClinical systems, RECIST and iRECIST, and audit trail review.

Lisa is a seasoned leader in the intersection of technology and clinical research, with nearly 25 years of experience across pharma, biotech, and medical devices. Her roles include leadership of product, engineering, AI research, and customer engagement organizations within both sponsor and product technology companies – supporting the industry’s ever-evolving need for innovative technology to improve clinical development and patient outcomes.

Lisa serves on the boards of ACRO and ACDM, and is on the advisory board for the Sexual and Gender Minority Alliance. Lisa holds a BS in Biomedical/Biochemical engineering from the University of Southern California.

As an elected member of the ACDM Board of Directors, Yuva brings a wealth of expertise in end-to-end data solutions, advancing the clinical data management community and reducing cycle times through AI integration.

With a deep understanding of SDTM and industry data standards, Yuva excels at architecting robust data strategies and accelerating study lifecycles. His proven track record includes leading cross-functional teams, driving technological excellence, and fostering a culture of innovation. Notably, Yuva has spearheaded initiatives in AI/ML, particularly in NLP, RPA, and VAE applied Generative AI, demonstrating his commitment to cutting-edge solutions.

Prior to joining the ACDM Board, Yuva held leadership positions at eClinical Solutions, GSK, and Covance, where he consistently delivered exceptional results in data management, vendor oversight, and strategic business planning. His experience includes overseeing global projects, driving financial efficiency, and cultivating strong stakeholder relationships.

Yuva is passionate about fostering collaboration and driving transformative growth within the clinical data management community. A key aspect of his vision is to support the strategic expansion of ACDM within the APAC region, facilitating the onboarding of new corporate members and significantly growing the membership community. Furthermore, the APAC committee is committed to bringing industry experts from the APAC region to the forefront, bridging the gap and fostering knowledge exchange with the global audience. His strategic vision and commitment to excellence will be invaluable assets to the ACDM Board.
