ACDM US Summit

The ACDM is excited to announce the launch of the Inaugural ACDM US Summit, new for 2026.

Bringing together leading voices in Clinical Data Management, the ACDM US Summit is a new event designed to advance discussion and collaboration in clinical data management and the wider clinical research community.

Taking place on 18th – 19th May 2026, the inaugural Summit is kindly hosted by Genmab at their offices in Princeton, New Jersey. The event will begin with a networking evening on 18th May, followed by focused sessions and discussions on 19th May. The programme includes scientific and practical sessions, thought-leadership content, and additional networking opportunities, providing a platform to share expertise across the global community under the theme Clinical Data Management at the Heart: Driving Trust, Innovation, and Impact.

The Summit will welcome industry leaders, clinical research professionals, data managers, and related roles. Open to the global ACDM community, participation is encouraged from all regions, reflecting ACDM’s commitment to inclusivity and international collaboration.

Anita's Bio

I have close to 25 years of DM experience in various pharma companies and therapeutic areas starting in 1999 with Merck, and followed by Schering Plough, NPS, Eisai, Novartis, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, and Genmab at present. My educational background is MSc in Biochemistry and Microbiology, and a BSc in Nursing.

My DM expertise spans beyond knowledge of FDA, ICH, GCP/GCDMP principles, to industry-specific globally regulated clinical data requirements and trends, i.e. EHR@EDC, DCT, etc. I strive to apply this knowledge in a globally run, digital, data-driven environment and support the delivery of high-quality data outputs crucial for regulatory submissions and scientific publications.

My passion is trouble shooting, coaching, and mentoring across a 360° spectrum, including DM, global Clinical Operations staff, Clinical Development peers, interns, CRO partners, and vendors and I bring extensive Clinical R&D experience, predominantly in therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Cardiovascular, Gastrointestinal, and Cell & Gene Therapy.

Yayra Tupra

Yayra's Bio

Yayra is a clinical and translational research professional that brings over 15 years of Oncology experience and just over 25 years of experience and expertise in clinical research to Daiichi Sankyo, that began with academic research at Duke University Medical Center while an undergrad at Duke University. Prior to her joining Daiichi Sankyo, she worked at Biotechs, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in contract research organizations (CROs) and academic research organizations, as well as at small and large pharmaceutical companies.

As Senior Director, Data Management AI&ML, Yayra brings a “can-do” and “collaborative” attitude while being able to respectfully challenge partners and be assertive, when necessary, around project timelines, expectations, finances, and scope. She actively monitors work to provide day to day guidance to external and internal partners, while leading prioritization and planning with internal and external teams to ensure outcomes meet expectations.

She thrives in innovation and ambiguity and is able to look at data management processes from an overarching viewpoint to see what can be optimized, and she is prepared to drive that optimization. Yayra drives continual improvement initiatives with external partners, actively collaborates with colleagues to achieve World Class Execution while driving transformational change to aid Daiichi Sankyo in becoming a Global Pharma Innovator with Competitve Advantage in Oncology.

Sarah Clark

AstraZeneca

Sarah's Bio

Sarah Clark is the Global Head of Clinical Data Management at AstraZeneca. Sarah has provided stability to the organisation, whilst progressing forward key initiatives and deliverables and building an internal Data Management capability. As business sponsor for one of AstraZeneca’s key transformation projects, Redefining Clinical Data Flow, she has championed the programme as it entered the critical implementation phase.

Prior to this Sarah led the Clinical Data and Insights (CDI) team. Sarah led the expansion of AZ’s CDI footprint to Bangalore, India, and has helped to pave the way for other data and related functions. During her tenure at AstraZeneca, she has reduced operating costs, amassed over $15 million in savings, and helped drive innovative ways of working that are reducing our carbon footprint.

Sarah is passionate about creating a diverse and inclusive environment where employees feel free to speak up, challenge and question whether there are better, alternate ways to work, maintain a curious mindset and excel in their careers. Sarah is keen to introduce roles that will enable future success and likes to have an impact within an organization. Sarah has a degree in Computer Science.

Carolina is a Biologist by training and a leader in global clinical data management with more than 25 years of experience shaping data strategy and operations across various pharmaceutical organizations. She has built and led high-performing global teams, optimizing data operations, and implementing innovative processes and technologies across major pharmaceutical organizations. Carolina is known for her strategic approach to data quality, regulatory compliance, vendor partnerships, and operational excellence in complex, matrixed environments.

She currently heads a Clinical Data Management team at Genmab, supporting the company’s growing oncology portfolio. Prior to Genmab, Carolina held senior data management leadership roles at Bayer, Novartis, and Schering-Plough, driving global operating model transformations and establishing dedicated data management units internationally.
