Understanding Laboratory Data

For data managers, laboratory data can seem complex and challenging to work with. This course gives an explanation of what laboratory data consists of, why labs provide data in the way that they do, and gives practical advice to the data manager about how to handle this data and key points to consider. The course is intended for a data manager with little or no previous experience with working with laboratory data.

To complete the course you must work through each Section Content and successfully complete each of the Section Tests.

It is important to STAY ON THE SCREEN and NOT to click out of the window during the training otherwise the syncing of the session will be disrupted. If syncing does get disrupted, you will need to restart the session.

You can re-play a screen by using the menu on the left hand side of the screen, however you cannot skip through any screens.  At the end of each section you must take the test, you can re-take the tests if you wish. 

At the end of the course, you must complete the Final Exam, if you achieve more than 80% in the Final Exam you will be able to download a Certificate.

This course should take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
